Traveling Fellowship

Two traveling fellowships (up to a maximum of $5,000 each) are intended for the young
researcher to expand their expertise and knowledge by association with other workers
in their field. Applicants must meet the following criteria:

•   Fellowship must be done at an institution in the MAOA 20-state area

•   Under age 40 by the application deadline (July 1, 2018)

•   Board-certified or have completed an approved orthopedic residency

•   Must maintain a practice or be currently located in the 20-state Mid-America region

•   Must be a U.S. citizen or has applied for U.S. citizenship

  2. Proposed itinerary to include institution name, supervising/sponsoring M.D., and timeline
